Art Curator — Art Director
“Bắc nhịp tang bồng” exhibition
The “Bắc Nhịp Tang Bồng” (2022) exhibition celebrated the resilience of Vietnamese traditional performing arts through a contemporary lens. Organized by Trường Ca Kịch Viện, it showcased 100+ artworks from 25 artists (lacquer painting, digital art, fashion design, and more), alongside public programs and cultural events.
Trường Ca Kịch Viện was founded to bring traditional performing arts closer to the public through digital humanities. Over nearly three years of operation, the organization has received significant community support. The project’s fan page has over 4,450 followers, while its website has garnered over 100,000 visits.
As Art Curator & Director and Vice Head of Organization, I led the entire curatorial process, from conceptualization to execution, artist collaboration to media outreach, logistics to preservation. I worked closely with artists nationwide, ensuring their works were accurately represented and properly handled. I oversaw exhibition storage and transportation, coordinating the safe transit of large-scale pieces (some over 100 pounds) across Vietnam. I also built strategic partnerships with national media agencies and press outlets, securing extensive coverage across VTV, Urbanist Vietnam, and other major newspapers. Leading a 30+ member cross-functional team, I trained and directed members in art handling, exhibition mounting, and audience engagement, maintaining professional gallery standards. Additionally, I designed and hosted seminars, guided tours, artist talks, and film screenings, fostering public discourse on traditional arts in contemporary society.
EXHIBITION SPACE
The exhibition space at Toong Coworking Space, Tràng Thi, Hanoi is a modern, adaptive venue that blends contemporary aesthetics with cultural engagement. It is designed as a flexible, open-concept gallery, and it features modular display areas, making it ideal for multidisciplinary art exhibitions.

FILM
SCREENING
We organized the documentary screening of Đoạn Trường Vinh Hoa, which captures the lives and struggles of traditional Tuồng and Cải Lương theater troupes and the realities of artists sustaining their craft. The screening was accompanied by seminars with director Lê Mỹ Cường and the film’s production team, providing in-depth discussions on the challenges of preserving traditional Vietnamese performing arts in contemporary society.

TALK
SHOWs
We organized multiple talk shows on Vietnamese traditional performing arts and digital media, including a notable collaboration with the directors of the Vietnam National Tuồng Theater, Vietnam National Chèo Theater, and the Vietnam Cải Lương Theater.
